Are You Ready to Pick Up Your Feelings?
If you remove your feelings from the equation will you still feel the same, will you still endure the same. Will you take off the veil that is called emotions/feelings and open your eyes to reality? When you’re no longer caught in the haze, would you allow or continue for situations to take place? The veil is no longer over your eyes, make your next move your best one. I have been in a space of simply asking God to show me the hearts of those around me. Oh how he never fails to deliver!
Often times we do things for the ones we love, because of those feelings of love, admiration, and loyalty etc. We don’t have a problem doing them, because the emotional tie that we have sometimes, not even realizing that that emotional tie is the one thing that’s hindering us. The people we love so much can sometimes be the ones keeping us down. The very relationships we love can be the very relationships not producing any fruit and too often we don’t want to look at our situations and see that they don’t produce any fruit. God tells us to look at a person by the fruit they bare, by the fruit that comes from them. When you’re involved in relationships whether it is family, friends, a lover, or even an acquaintance you have to remember that those relationships have to bare some kind of fruit. Only when you realize there is no fruit then you start to question and wonder what’s in the heart of those around you as to why there is no fruit being bared from this relationship.
I’ll take this moment to simply encourage you to simply pick up your feelings. Jazmine Sullivan dropped an album on this week and honey ate and left no crumbs on the table. The one key song that stuck with me and speaks to me and is truly my song of the year is “ Pick Up Your Feelings”,and to remember that everything doesn’t involve your emotions. Sometimes you just have to remove yourself from the equation and many times once that veil is taking off, it’s up to you to make the decision on how to move forward. Now, you get to decide where to properly invest your feelings and your time to see what relationships genuinely bare the fruit that is going to help you grow but also be beneficial to them too. Do Not be afraid to ask God to show you the hearts of those around you in your space. Be mindful that when you askGod to show you the hearts of those, he’s also going to show you your heart to, because you have to remember you played a role in the situation to on why you got this far. Secondly and more importantly Do Not forget to ask him to show you your heart, he’s going to show you where you lacked discipline, where you lacked boundaries, where you lacked your own correction. Now, you got to be ready, sometime maybe the one that is not being fruitful is you. We also have to be willing to eat that cookie and swallow that pill to and it’s OK, but once that veil is off of your eyes, YOU have to make the decision the decision on how to move forward.
