Style as we know is individual, what do you think your style says about you? My style says that I am very eclectic. Style is a hobby I never get tired of experimenting with.
In today’s society with so many different style trends out who would you say influences some of your style choices? Janet Jackson, Tracy Ross, Gabriel Union, Caleb Jones (Entrepreneur), Zolee (Influencer), and Cristina Martinez (Artist).
Winter is fastly approaching , what are some of your go to pieces for this cold Winter? Turtlenecks, long thick socks to bunch at the ankles, black peacoat, and booties.
You are the founder of “ Loud Leporah/ Misss.Desiree “ how did your brands come about? Loudleaporah came about in college when I was still discovering my signature style and just self overall. The brand curated with confidence accumulated during my growth - God’s perfect works. Miss Desiree came about during my 60-day fasting of just solely focusing on my spiritual growth and understanding my purpose as a woman in such a male-dominating world.
As we all know style changes over time how has your style changed over the course of years? My style has changed a good bit! I’m more into oversized shirts and sweaters. It’s still transitioning into an urban/chic minimalist style.
How does your life affect your style on a daily basis? (life situations, struggles, happiness etc) Second from Jesus, I actually lean on my style to get me through. If I’m just not in the mood, I go for a very loose European look. If I just know I am going to have a great time, I get spunky with patterns and textured intermixed.
Your young on the rise and have a dope brand behind you, what should we be expecting from you in the coming months? Very grownish vibes all 2019. Quality over quantity to truly challenge everyone to have pieces in the closets that will last for more than just a season.
How would you best describe your brand? Miss Desiree is intentionally encouraging others to find comfort in vulnerability and know that there is greater things to come out of one’s transparency.
